Periodontal Therapy

Our soft tissue management program helps patients ward off gum disease, a sneaky condition responsible for most tooth loss in American adults. For those diagnosed with gum disease, we offer periodontal therapy. Dr. Anderson's hygienist's, Bev and Brandy, have a gentle touch and more than 35 years of experience. They will assess your gums, make a diagnosis, and then present your treatment plan, which may include cleaning, scaling, and/or root planing. If you have extensive periodontitis, we may refer you to a periodontist for surgical treatment.
The early symptoms of gingivitis include redness, swelling, or tenderness of the gums, as well as bleeding during teeth brushing. If you notice these symptoms or have not visited a dentist in the past six months, call to schedule a consultation with Dr. Anderson, Bev, or Brandy. Our Stoughton office is conveniently located for patients throughout the Madison and Janesville area.
